L'Oréal lead in cosmetics, beauty and fragrance the world over and have a diverse portfolio of brands which are available in retailers from department stores to specialist shops.
The technical team worked hard to make the units as efficient for manufacture as possible, especially given the short delivery window for production to complete. The V&R Tree Towers were an particular favourite of the designers, who made sure that this was simple to make in production as well as put together with the right paddles in the right places on the assembly line! The bow was another challenge, especially for the Graphics department, but here we were able to make excellent use of flexible materials and our digital printer.
Overall, 1560 units were produced across 19 different unit styles, ranging from Candy Canes to fully illuminated Wrapping Bureaux Stations for colleagues in store. Virtually all possible substrates went into manufacture for the items, with each area of the manufacturing plant feeding into the final assembly zone for the mammoth task of building everything to hit the warehouse and installation dates for stores.
The displays and site installations all looked fantastic in store and were really well received by customers and store colleagues. The brand presence was excellent and allowed the franchises to stand-out in the crowded Christmas Fragrance marketplace. The V&R Bureaux are being upgraded to complement a new launch, which means that the design and budget spend can be further harnessed to increase sales in another campagin.
