Development at Carpenters Road

Derelict land was purchased in Carpenters Road and modern units built for assembly and storage to relieve the pressure on the Warton Road Site. Interest in the local environment continued and a group of Kesslers' staff spent weekends clearing out the Bow Back Rivers, part of the East London canal system, that runs alongside the Warton Road and Carpenters Road sites. Their endeavours were rewarded when they won a City Dragon Award from the Lord Mayor of London.
