Autumn Retail Trends
After a fantastic summer turns to autumn, the time has come for Kesslers International to conduct the latest in-store trend research.
With talk of high street footfall decreasing as shopping malls are favoured, we decided to make our way to Oxford Street, London to see how high street retailers are enticing consumers in-store.
Focusing our research predominately on the sport and technology sectors the key trends established were:
- An integration of digital media and print media to promote a strong and consistent brand message throughout product ranges.
- Consumer interaction with products is a reoccurring trend within the technology industry – an imperative factor when buying headphones for example.
- Bold stand-out colours that capture the attention as well as subconsciously triggering the shopper’s emotions.
