Kesslers 12th Innovation Seminar explored ‘How brands are using technology in-store’.
The event, hosted at Kesslers International’s HQ, received a massive response with brands and retailers, attending from all over Europe. With special guest speakers from AV solution providers and creative production specialists; Visionpoint Technologies and Mediastation.
Nick Bennett, from Mediastation, gave fascinating insight into the new types of technology emerging in-store, alongside point-of-purchase and identified brand campaigns that have successfully used; touch screens, QR codes, augmented reality and face recognition, to promote the launch of a new product or service. Kit demonstrations completed the afternoon offering guests the opportunity to experience the latest in digital technology.
A show of hands on the day revealed that the majority of brands are eager to build digital technology into their marketing campaigns, to stand out to consumers and maintain an innovative edge on their competition. Kesslers International’s master-class offered brands and retailers an opportunity to find out how this can be done, effectively!
The event was extremely well received, recognising the need for brands and retailers to learn more about the evolving world of digital technology. As Charles Kessler, Chairman, comments; “It has never been so easy for brands to clearly communicate their message to their target audience. Modern technology works alongside traditional point-of-purchase to engage the consumer with the brand and create an exciting experience for the consumer in-store.”
